The Mavic 3M Multispectral drone provides high-precision aerial surveying, crop growth monitoring, and natural resource surveys without needing ground control points. Updated with a 20MP RGB camera and four 5MP multispectral cameras (green, red, red edge, and near-infrared), the imaging system works alongside a sunlight sensor to provide more accurate NDVI results and improved accuracy and consistency of data over time.
Applications for use include orchard mapping, guide variable rate applications for crops, intelligent field scouting for deficiencies, weed pressures, and specific crop seedling identification. Environmental monitoring can also be used for water enrichment monitoring, forest distribution surveys, and urban green area surveys.
